Let It Snow! - Surprise Lyrical Photoshoot
Hello everyone! It feels so strange to be posting on a Saturday. I haven't done that for months! But it's the holiday season and I felt super inspired the other day when I woke up to the trees outside my window glistened with snow. So, an extra lyrical photoshoot seemed appropriate to do. Hopefully you guys aren't too tired of these 😅I just really enjoy doing them, especially during the holiday season.
As you can see by the cover photo, I decided to change it up a little bit by taking the photos with one of my Barbie dolls. I was inspired by E from Just Dolling, who did a photoshoot with one of her vintage Barbies a few months ago.
I chose one of my late 1960 Barbies who me and my siblings have had for many years now. Funny enough we named her Andrea, after our mom, since the doll's haircut reminded us of the one she had at the time, and she was the one that knitted the dress (which looks so much like snow ❆) that the doll is wearing in this post. Though, after doing this photoshoot she reminds me a lot more of Amanda Woods from the Holiday. Especially with that one scene towards the beginning when she's trying to wade through the snow once arriving in England. Me and my family have been watching that movie every New Years/New Years Eve for the past two years or so, since that's how the movie ends. Anyway, that's beside the point!
The song I chose, as the title says, is Let It Snow! Since it seems just too fitting. As I've said in every lyrical photoshoot, I will include the music video and the lyrics so you guys can enjoy the tunes along with the pictures. I picked the Frank Sintra version, but you can listen to whichever one your heat desires ♡
The end! I hope you guys enjoyed this lyrical photoshoot :) I know I didn't take as many pictures this time, but still let me know which one is your favorite. And if you think I should do more photoshoots and or other posts with my smaller dolls.
I have to admit she did fall a few times, which is why she has some snow on her head in some of the pictures, lol. But I think that, and the bit of marker on her face from who knows what, really made it more realistic for the cold weather.
On Wednesday I will be posting my blogoversary And with that...
I hope you have a great rest of your weekend! I love you all so much 💖
