My thoughts on the new American Girl Historical doll

 Hello everyone! So I know I just did something like this a few posts ago but this is a different doll. I also know that Courtney came out a while before Christmas so as usaul I am a bit late anyway let's get started.

This is Courtney Moore she is nine years old and an expert gamer. Her story is set in 1986, When a school assignment gives Courtney the chance to create her own game, she knows just what it means to stand out: a female hero. She's always wished there were more girl characters in the arcade games she plays, and this is her chance to make that change. She creates the character Crystal Starshooter, who's bold and brave and can handle a situation - qualities she wants for herself. That is most of her backstory if you want to hear about more of her story I am sure you can find it online or by reading her book. I think Courtney has an amazing story and it has definitly not been done before.  Good job American Girl! She is also a really pretty doll and doesn't really look like any of the other dolls so that's good. Courtney comes with her first book and she is dressed in some pink leggings, a denim skirt, some white boots, a blue crop top with a purple tank top underneath, and a pink scrunchie.  Courtney is priced at $110.00 just like all of the dolls Let's move on to the rest of Courtney's collection.

Next up is Courtney's PAC-MAN Arcade game. This is so cool because you can actually play the game. This is priced at $149.00 which is expensive but since it is big and since you can play the game it is only a tad bit overpriced.

This is Courtney's Pleasant Company Molly doll. This set includes: Molly mini doll, mini meet molly book, Pleasant Company box, and lastly mini Pleasant Company catalog. This set is priced at $30.00 which is not overpriced at all and it is pretty cute set.

This is Courtney's Care Bears pajamas for 18 inch dolls. This outfit is super cute. It is one of my favorite of Courtney's outfits. This set is priced at $28.00 which for three things is a bit overpriced. This set is includes: Care Bears nightgown, light blue fuzzy socks, and a matching blue scrunchie. I really like this set it is so cute.

This is Courtney's Bedroom Set. I love this set it is so cute! This set includes: A pink bunk bed, two mattresses, two rainbow comforts, four rainbow pillows, PAC-MAN pillow, see-through phone, four hangers, a mirror, a potted plant, a address book, a mini american girl Molly's Surprise book, a mini Sarah, Plain and tall book, a mini diary, red plastic book ends, and a set of sticker poster. This set is priced at $225.00. This is a WAY overpriced but it is such a cute set I will not rant to much.

This is Courtney's Care Bears Pajamas for girls. This is priced at $40.00 which in my opinion is very overpriced, because all your getting is a nightgown. But again all of this is just my opinion. 

 Most all of Courtney's clothes are supposed to be mixed and matched. This is Courtney's Splatter Print Dress. This is priced at $18.00 which to me seems reasonable not perfect price but reasonable. This dress is very cute I would totally were this.

This is Courtney's High-Top Sneakers. This is priced at $16.00 which is not to bad but a bit overpriced. These shoes are really cute but not really my style.

This is Courtney's Cropped Jacket. This is priced at $12.00 which is not really overpriced. I love the hot pink color but this is not one of my favorite of her outfits. 

This is Courtney's Cardigan. Okay before I tell you about this product let me just say that this is so freaking CUTE! This is priced at $18.00 which I personal think that this is a bit overpriced but not as bad as some of the other stuff in Courtney's collection.

This is Courtney's Leggings Set. This set includes: Blue leggings, and some purple lacy capri leggings. This set is priced at $16.00 which to me seems like just the perfect price. I think this set is pretty cute not my favorite but cute.

OH MY FREAKING GOD!!! THIS IS SO CUTE! Sorry that was a bit to dramatic but I am serious these are the cutest thing ever. This is Courtney's Skirt and Suspenders. This is priced at $16.00 which is kind of meh for this product but not to overpriced.

This is Courtney's Shirt and Tie. This is priced at $16.00 which is a pretty good price not overpriced not underpriced. I am not the biggest fan of this shirt it is just not my style and it is a little loud

This is Courtney's T-Shirt and Tank Set. This set is priced at $16.00 I think this set is pretty cute but not my favorite. 

This Courtney's Denim Jacket. This is priced at $18.00 which is a little overpriced but not to bad. I think this is super cute I think this would look good on any American Girl doll.

These are Courtney's Jeans. This is priced at $16.00 which is a bit overpriced but not bad. I like these jeans but I don't like how the top part is folded down but I believe this was quite popular in the 80's but don't blame me if I am wrong it's not like I grew up in the 80's.

This is Courtney's first book Courtney's Changes the Game. I have not read this yet but I got this for my friend for Christmas so I will have to ask her if it is any good. This is priced at $7.99. which is not overpriced.

These are Courtney's Accessories. This set includes: a cassette player, a pair of headphones, a cassette tape, a case for mix tapes, four colored hair bands, a tube of lip smacker, a plastic button that says Maureen Mayor. This set is priced at $30.00 which is not to bad but a bit overpriced. This is a very cute set. I love all of the accessories.

This is Courtney's PAC-MAN Lunch set. THIS SET IS SO CUTE! all of the little accessories are so tiny and detailed. This set includes: a PAC-MAN lunch box, a PAC-MAN water bottle, a bologna and cheese sandwich, some apples, some cheese balls that fits in a cute container, and a brownie with sprinkles on it. This set is priced at $25.00 which is pretty good price for this set.

This is Courtney's Belt Bag and watch. This is priced at $16.00 which seems a bit overpriced. I think this set is cute not my favorite though. I say that to much.

This is Courtney's Fashion Accessories. This set includes: green and pink earrings, a green scrunchie, a pink lace headband, and  a pair of purple lace finger less gloves. This set is priced at $16.00 which is not overpriced. This set is pretty cute I like it.

This is Courtney's Sleepover Accessory Set. This set includes: a boombox, eight cassette tapes, two fruit punch cans, a bowl of tortilla ships, a cootie catcher, and a friendship notebook. This set is priced at $50.00 this is a bit overpriced but since the boombox actually play music that  helps it not be as overpriced. I love this set this might be going on my birthday list yes I like it that much.

These are Courtney's Sunglasses. This includes: hot pink sunglasses, and a pink American Girl sunglasses case. This is priced at $10.00. I think these Sunglasses are pretty cute but there's nothing to amazing about these.

This is Courtney's School Supplies. This set includes: a rainbow unicorn binder, two folders one with a dolphin on it and one with a rainbow, twenty sheets of lined paper, a set of puffy stickers, a pink pencil box, three pencils, three animal erasers. This set is priced at $30.00 which is not very overpriced but a little bit. I think this set is really cute I like it.

This is Courtney's Caboodles and Hair Accessories Kit. This set includes: a pink and teal caboodles case, a can of hairspray, a white hair pick, blue and pink scrunchies, a green plastic banana clip, a pink lace bow, a eyes shadow pallet, four sheets nail stickers. This set is priced at $36.00 which is not overpriced. I love this set it is very cute.

This is Courtney's Care Bears Sleeping Bag Set. This set includes: a care bears sleeping bag, a care bears pillow, and a care bears plush. This set is priced at $36.00 which is a bit overpriced for three things but it's not bad.

This is Courtney's Flats and Socks. This set is priced at $12.00 which is a bit overpriced for some shoes and socks but that's just my opinion.
