Stardew Valley Can Be So Frustrating! - Video Games in Real Life #2

Sam: Hey everyone!

Sam: Welcome back to Hailey's Joyful Dolls!

Sam: So as the title of this blog post says today we will be doing yet another video game in real life blog post! This time we're doing Stardew Valley! Since you guys seemed to enjoy the last one 😉

Sam: And today I have some extra help, come on in superstar!

Nellie: Sam do I have to show them, this is so embarrassing!

Sam: Come on Nellie it's not the big of a deal, you look great!

Nellie: Uh huh, of course you would think so. This is your blog post idea! I don-

Sam: Introducing Nellie O'Malley! She's going to be playing a character in our little production for you all today!

Nellie: Sam forced me to do this you guys.

Sam: I did not! You know what it doesn't matter. Basically how this is going to work is that Hailey's going to show you guys around her farm in Stardew Valley and then me (and Nellie) will try our very best to recreate it. So yeah let's-

Nellie: get this over with.

Hey you guys it's Hailey! So as Sam said I will be showing you guys the ropes of Stardew Valley (in case you haven't played before 😊 ❤) So here's me, in the inside of my house.

And here's the outside! Isn't it cute 🥰❤ I especially love the stone path. If I do say so myself ;)

This is my dog, Luna ❤ Fun fact I have a dog named Luna in real life too. In case you didn't know already 😅

Now like ACNH you can chop down trees.

Like so 💙

Next, we have fishing! Yet another thing you can do in ACNH as well :)

Except it's harder to do in Stardew Valley then in ACNH 😆

Look I got trash, YAY! *sarcastically claps*

IT'S MINING TIME! Now this is something you can not do in ACNH. And I have to admit it's one of my favorite parts of Stardew Valley.

It's super fun!

But it gives me anxiety when these little green buggers show up 😬😱

And you will see why, when they try to KILL YOU!

And when you finally kill that ONE monster. You walk into the next room and see ALL OF THESE! LIKE ARE YOU FREAKING KILLING ME! (and yes I meant to say killing instead of kidding, no really I did.) DO YOU REALLY THINK I CAN KILL THAT MANY MONSTERS ALL AT ONCE! Sorry I got a little aggressive there 😅

And then you DIE. Just kidding you don't die.

You just pass out...and lose one item and a good bit of money 😬

Yep, it's not fun.

Now relationships (both romantic and platonic) are very important in this game. So right now I'm trying to befriend Sam.

No matter where you look, whenever you're wanting to chat with them. They're never there.

Or how long you wait.

Until! You finally give up and then there they are.

And then you head to bed and do the same thing over again! You know I've realized that I've been explaining Stardew Valley to you all, as if I don't like it 😅 But I really do enjoy the game it's very cute and there's lots of cool mysteries and adventures as well. I would highly recommend Stardew Valley if you like games similar to ACNH but a little bit more interesting and frustrating, lol. Now it's time for Sam and Nellie to take a shot at 'recreating' this game!

Sam: *snore*

Me: Sam? Sam! Wake up!

Sam: I think what she meant to say was "Chrissy, wake up! I don't like this" "CHRISSY WAKE UP!" "Hey, hello?" *hums the rest of the song*

Me: Sam.

Sam: Sorry Hailey. Anyway welcome everyone to my humble abode 👏 Isn't my room cute ❤

Sam: And here's the outside! Or should I say my farm 😉

Me: I don't get it.

Sam: Yeah, neither do I 😅

Sam: Here's one of our many dogs ❤ Anouk (and yes he's a boy, even though I'm pretty sure his name is a girl name 😅 I didn't pick it)

Sam: Now let's chop some trees! I'm going to be honest with you guys I've never chopped down a tree before. So this should be fun!

Sam: Let's do this!

Me: Sam just promise me you'll be careful 😬

Sam: Stop worrying so much. It'll be fine 🤷

Sam: Here's what we end up with! And this is definitely not a completely different 'tree' Anyway moving on!

Sam: Next is fishing!

Sam: Like so

Sam: And if you're lucky you might get something (even if that something is just trash) but we did not have such luck today 😑

Sam: This next activity I'm super excited for and that is mining!

Sam: And this is our 'mining cave'

Sam: so now we're going to grab our pickaxe and start destroying rocks!

Sam: Oh my god! What the freaking heck is that! Hailey why are you putting me through this?!

Me: You're the one that wanted to do this blog post in the first place.

Sam: But I didn't know about these guys!

Sam: KILL IT!!!

Sam: AHH!!!!

Sam: Anyway just forget about all that just happened 😅 Now relationships as Hailey mentioned before. Is one of the most important parts of Stardew Valley. But it seems to never go well...
