Realistic Recreation Photography - Part 2
Hello everyone! Welcome back! I hope you're having a great weekend, so far.
Last week, in this post, I asked you guys what type of posts you would like to see next and Hividah requested either a photostory or another movie recreation post. And it just so happens that I had taken some pictures back in February for a movie recreation post. I never edited or did anything with them. So, now, three months later, I'm putting them to good use!
If you didn't see my last post in this series, basically I'm taking scenes from some iconic movies and TV shows and turning it into realistic photography, using my dolls as models.
Now, at the time I took these pictures, it was still winter season, and I wanted to use that to my advantage. So, I tried to think, "what movies have winter as a key component?" And my mind immediately went to the Chronicles of Narnia series! Specifically, the first one: The Chronicles of Narnia; The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Honestly, I read all of the books a very, very long time ago, and watched only one or two of the movies, also a very, very long time ago. So, my memory wasn't super clear. But one of the scenes I do remember was when Lucy goes through the wardrobe and appears in Narnia for the first time. And that it also one of the few scenes from the movies I felt like I could actually accomplish.
Alright, I'll stop rambling...Here we go!
Also, here is the song from the soundtrack that plays during the scene, in case you wanted to listen to it while reading the post :)
And that my friends, is the end of our tale...Well, my version, at least. I know this was short. But honestly, it really was the only tidbits of the whole scene I could realistically manage in my small backyard. Plus, I don't have any doll that could really pass as Mr. Tumnus, so....yeah....
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know if you would like to see me do more of this series. Honestly, it's so much fun! And yeah, if you haven't seen The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, I would highly recommend it! Though I haven't seen it in a long while, re-visiting it through this post made me realize how incredible it was. And I mean, who wouldn't want to see Liam Leeson as a Lion named Aslan? Plus, the soundtrack and cinematography are absolutely gorgeous π
And with that side note, I'll see ya next time!
What Did You Think About This Realistic Recreation Photography Post?
Have You Watched Any Of The Chronicles Of Narnia Movies?
Should I Do A Part 3 To The Realistic Recreation Photography Series?
If So, What Movie or TV Show Scene Should I Recreate?
This turned out wonderfully! I could tell what you were recreating before I even clicked on the post!
ReplyDeleteI actually have watched the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. At least now we know I'm a little bit cultured. π
I would honestly love to see a part 3! You could do... hmm, I have no idea- maybe something Star Wars or Marvel?
Thank you so much! π
DeleteI'm glad it wasn't too tricky to guess what it was from, I was a bit worried this one would be harder than the first one I did, lol.
As per usual, I would highly recommend The Chronicles of Narnia movies, assuming you enjoy fantasy that is π
And those are great recommendations. I'll definitely have to do one of them for the next part!
These snow-themed pictures are lovely! ❄️ Gosh, it's been ages since I've watched Narnia... I've seen the first movie several times and the beginning of one of the later movies once. Aslan and Mr. Tumnus were my favourite characters π
ReplyDeleteI've only read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe once, but I have the entire series and hope to find time to read them at some point. π
Hm, perhaps a Part 3 could be with Star Wars or Lord of the Rings?
Aw, thank you π
DeleteLikewise! I haven't seen the movies for so long. And Aslan and Mr. Tumnus were definitely some of my favorites as well.
I love your suggestions too, I'll be sure to keep them in the back of my mind for when I eventually do a part 3!
This looks so good! I'm obsessed with all of these photos (and the Misha gif, hehe)!
ReplyDeleteThank you, McKayla ☺️ And yes, the Misha gif is gold π
